Damo's Ride (blu ute)

Current Mods: Performance modifications: Higgins heads, 224/230 112 cam, underdrive pulley, ARP bolts, Tie bar lifters, 2.5” stainless steel cat back, Pacemaker 4 into 1 extractors, Ballistic 100cpsi cats, VCM OTR, Chev’s mafless tune, Pedders coilover suspension, HSV brakes, McLeod twin plate brass clutch . 

Cosmetic modifications and options: Blue dash and blue leather, custom blue HSV pod gauges, all LEDs in dash changed from red to blue, Avanti tourer rims with blue highlights (20x10 rear, 20x8.5 front), Halo headlights, HSV front bar, HID headlights (to go in), black exhaust tips, VZ 6.0 split engine covers, tinted tail lights, ladder racks.

Future Mods: Rip shifter and then put a little LS7 in its place.

Current Mods: Clive custom cam, PAC 1511 valve springs, Trend pushrods, Morel tie-bar lifters, heads shaved 10 thou', ARP head bolts, Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley, 160deg thermostat, 2800 stall, trans cooler, Duspeed OTR, Chev's tune, Pacemaker ceramic coated 1 7/8" headers, 4" Ballistic cats, KPM 3" catback, heater hose relocation, H&R coilovers, Flat-top hardlid, beesting aerial, Hertz 6.5" comp splits

Future Mods : New brakes! maybe a new set of wheels, swaybars/void bushes, re-upholster seats, diff gears

Best thing about hanging out at Chevs: Chev and the crew are some of the most decent guys you'll come across in the game. Brilliant customer service, always ready to listen and explain stuff for you. Talking cars with a great group of people, and ogling some of the nice machinery that turns up there!

Gary's Ride (Wonky)

Current Ride/s: VE SSV A6 UTE

Current Mods:

Genuine W427 front bar, genuine HSV front guards and flutes, 1 7/8" HPC Pacemaker Headers and 3" KPM catback (sounds great!), DUS OTR, Chev tune, H&R coilovers, HSVi steering wheel, HID lights (35W low beam, 70W high beam, 70W driving lights), Midnight Express tint, Bee sting aerial, Hard Lid, custom SSV doorstep protectors, remote operated actuators on hardlid and tailgate, custom badge, small cam (223/223 @ 115), small amp with speaker upgrade, 10" subwoofer with separate amp, HSV pod gauges (gauges from E3 HSV).

Future Mods: HSV E3 instrument cluster.

Current RWKW's: 283rwkw. (Ran 12.83 @ 111.6mph as bolt on only (before cam) at Heathcote with 260rwkw. Hopefully we can pick up a few tenths now with the cam but it feels very strong on the road yet can still get down to the low 9s litres/100km on a trip i.e. over 30mpg in the old scale! 

Favourite thing about hanging out at Chev's: Everything!... Very friendly place to be. My wife would be shocked if I missed a Saturday arvo there! LOL

Current mods: Higgins heads, cam, ARP head studs etc, Chev mafless tune, underdrive pulley, OTR,  X Force extractors and 3” exhaust, numerous suspension mods, HSV Pentagons 20” rims, HSVi steering wheel and shifter (red leather), HID conversions in high/low beam. recalibrated auto shifts.

Future mods:  PBR M series brakes a must and hopefully a Harrop 1900 blower. 

Current RWKW's :  330 at last dyno run.

Vern's Ride (Big V)

Current Ride: Voodoo 2008 SSV M6 ute.

Winner of the 2011 Australian LSX shootout, True Street Drag Racing Class.

Current Mods: X force stepped headers with 2 ½ X force cat back, DUS OTR, very baby cam (212 218 @115) which gives better than stock fuel economy. Pedders Extreme coilovers with upgraded 10kg (750lb) rear springs for the tools and parts I carry.

My goal with this ute was to keep it as close to stock feel as possible without compromising fuel economy and driveability because it's my daily drive and racks up 900km a week.

Future mods : No plans.
